Christmas Tree Giveaway Hits Scott AFB for Third Consecutive Year
By Tracy Tinsley
Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator

Join us, the 375th Services Squadron on Dec. 4 beginning at 3 p.m. at the Scott Club (Enlisted side parking lot) as we give away approximately 350 Christmas trees and hot chocolate.  The Trees for Troops Foundation donated these trees to Scott Air Force Base and the USO donated the hot chocolate.  These trees range from approximately 5 to 7 foot in height.  Trees will be issued on a first come, first served basis.  The free trees are open to everyone affiliated with Scott AFB.  For additional information, call the Services Marketing Office at 256-3766.  Start the holiday off right with a free Christmas tree!

Customer Feedback Survey Helps Drive Programs

Every year, Headquarters Air Force Services conducts a Customer Feedback Survey to assess customer satisfaction with base level Services programs.  This year there is an exciting change.  The Air Force has merged Mission Support and Services to create new synergies and improve customer services.  The Air Force Customer Feedback survey will now include A1 functions.  Customers will still be able to answer the survey online at www.usafservue.com.

The online survey was a great success last year and we are anticipating even more surveys will be completed online this year.  The online survey allows you to respond quickly either at the activity or from the comfort of your own home. To save time the online version is designed to only present questions about activities you and your family participate in.  This reduces the time it takes to complete the survey.

“We want you to let your opinions be known”, says Major Tim Sites, 375th Services Squadron Commander.  According to Sites, “Your responses will help make a difference in the programs the A1 Community offers to you, your family, and the entire Scott AFB community.”  “We, here at Services, are committed to offering a variety of programs to improve the quality of life for Air Force families.  These surveys help all of us at Services know what we are doing right and where we can improve.”

If you have any questions, please contact your Services Marketing representative, Lisa Timmermann, 256-3766. This survey has been reviewed and approved for distribution by the Air Force Personnel Survey Branch at the Air Force Personnel Center.  The survey control number is USAF SCN 07-073  Survey dates: Dec. 1, 08 - Jan. 15, 09.
